District Administrator Armin Kroder and Delegation Visit EduArt in Rollhofen
Rollhofen, Neunkirchen am Sand, Germany / January 2026
29 January 2026 – An official visit in wintry weather: despite a heavy blanket of snow, the District Administrator of Nürnberger Land Armin Kroder, the First Mayor of Neunkirchen am Sand Jens Frankhänel, the Head of District Development Bernd Hölzel, and Business Promoter Frank Richartz made their way to EduArt.
We provided a compact tour of our innovative work environment – set within the unique premises of a former farmhouse in Rollhofen. The old pigsty is currently being transformed into a larger office building. On a tour through past, present, and future, we showed how historic walls now house cutting-edge technology: our mobile robot platforms, the PCB design workshop with in-house assembly and prototyping, and insights into ongoing development projects.
Our guests were clearly impressed by the breadth of topics emerging from Rollhofen – from sensing to control software through to complete systems. The open discussion about regional innovative strength, education, and the connection between research & practice highlighted the maturity of the local robotics ecosystem.
Many thanks for the visit, the insightful exchange, and the appreciative feedback! We look forward to further strengthening collaboration between industry, local government, and technology – and, of course, to seeing you again, preferably in sunshine.
